Not even a petabyte? So when the iPhone v15 comes out with 1PB of storage we will be carrying more info in one device than our whole brain. Interesting times ahead...

Btw, AAPL went from $80 to $160 in just a quarter. I guess Ballmer is banging his head against a monitor showing a Win7 screensaver for missing that opportunity to double his wealth.

Since January 2000 when he became CEO of M$, the stock went from $60 to $20 the first year, then flatlined for the next decade. Ballmer is the only problem in M$, the worst CEO ever, and I will be very happy the day he steps down.

Would you stop flying the concord just becausse they don't serve pepsi on board? More propaganda retardness. The iPhone is the best mobile computing platform ever and everybody on the street loves it, they don't care about GV or your person

So he's been using the perfect phone for two years then a new service comes and gets rejected and he drops the best mobile computing platform ever? I know everybody is milking the GV fiasco, but this borders on stupidity.

No modern news outlet should have more than 100 employees of any kind. Period. 100 at the most, but you can easily run a media company or regional newspage with 10 or 20 employees.

Sometimes I run PHP on windoze, with Apache and MySql, no problems at all. M$ from time to time tries to remove Apache from the startup services but that's a minor annoyance. Who in his dubious sanity would run PHP on IIS and sql server? Wh

Idea: remove the handle bar and use an iPhone to control it. With the accelerometer and the compass it wouldn't be that difficult. Call it a Tri-pad, sell it for $999.

For $5000 I rather buy a Kawasaki Ninja 500R and look cool. Even ATVs are cooler and there are some new models coming that look badass. Now, if it was $900 like a mountain bike, I may give it a try.

Jerry Yang would have never sold out. Now this newcomer gets greedy, some money exchanging hands under the table and now Yahoo search is dead. Carol Bartz? she will be forgotten quickly.

As a web designer here is my stance: - I will only use free fonts - I will only use patent-unencumbered fonts - I will only use less-than-100k fonts That's my credo.

I'd adventure to say by the end of the year all major browsers will implement WebSockets: Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera are working on it as we speak.

"What’s the future of Comet?" None. It will be killed as soon as WebSockets get implemented. WebSockets will bring the real-time web alive. It will be the greatest advance in internet since its early days. Google Wave will ride on WebSocket

Taking a lok at it, sending messages back and forth is retarded. Just call the damn functions by their names with their arguments since the worker itself is already threaded and sandboxed.
