Jim Keller and the teams he leads/enables has their fingerprints all over modern CPU architecture - From AMD's K8 (Athlon 64) and Zen (their modern competitive product) to Apple's A4 and A5.

Personally I prefer a 60% keyboard and work on a HHKB Professional 2. Different strokes for different folks - try out different form factors and different switch types, there's a lot to see and try.

I could imagine for many carriers the shorter landing gear is a feature of the design; I believe some using this airframe choose to disembark passengers direct to the tarmac using the system's ladders, rather than involve a flight of s

You're correct the 2012 model was when they stopped offering the Anti-glare screen - it was 1680x1050(if i recall?) compared to the default glossy screen's 1440x900, i recall there also being a 1680x1050 glossy display upgrade ava

Personally I find a classic Unix layout to work best for me. I’ve mapped the caps lock key to CTRL. I use that far more than I ever use caps, it feels quite natural to me after about a week or two of adjustment.

Nope - the Polo is a good bit smaller than the Golf, it's a Supermini. Think of it like how the Golf used to be back 1970's. The Polo is in the same class as the Ford Fiesta, Mini and Fiat 500.
