Not true. Pretty much the only thing that is in "ruin" is the old defense ministry building which is kept that way for the current governments propaganda purposes.

Based on my experience with my iphone, I have a suspicion they've optimised somehow for people having fatter fingers. I've noticed that sometimes the auto correct assumes I mean to press a character next to the one I wanted.

The only country where it is actually fairly simple is Canada, because Canadian banks already have the infrastructure to automatically tattle on you to Uncle Sam and the IRS.

That is an excellent way of thinking about them. For anyone unfamiliar, OP is referring to the Kurt Vonnegut novel which has a fictional state of water (ice-nine) that immediately freezes all other water it comes into contact with into more

I think there is a happy middle ground where they are still required to be easily provided. I'm thinking about avoiding situations such as when huawei used to provide copied Nortel manuals for their knockoff/IP-theft equipment.

This describes me. I was playing WoW Classic with a close friend and regular WoW with a guild doing scheduled raids. Basically the day it all went down I disabled my account and uninstalled the bliz client. It was so weirdly easy to let go

Not only are you 100% correct, but anyone thinking otherwise has the luxury of not being born poor or a minority based on how deaths are working out in first world countries.

I've always considered the last Roman vs Persian war the first world war. It lasted nearly 30 years, saw action, territory changes, and troop movements from Western Europe, through Africa, and the Middle East. At the onset the Eastern

I agree with you 100% but I'll try to condense what I think is the biggest hurdle for buy in. People want "their" car to be smart, they don't want "our" roads to be smart. I'm generalising but I hope you g

I'm not sure why this is news. Yersinia pestis (the plague) first showed up in the 540s AD in the form of the Plague of Justinian. In fact the plague occurred just as Justinian's armies were over extended reconquering the western

I also interviewed at Okta and one of the first interviewers started the session by insulting me. Like full stop, insulted me. I threw the rest of the interview and enjoyed the free lunch.

The crunch for space at TSMC must be much worse than we realize for AMD to still use Vega which is made at GlobalFoundries. With that said, this is some impressive logistical and supply chain juggling on AMDs part.

As someone who works on open source AGPL'd products it is pretty obvious to me what is going on. He has someone sniffing around to buy the entirety of the intellectual property. He wants to cash out.
