That's how I put my newborn to sleep initially, and it works, BUT there's a problem here - If the baby falls asleep in your arms, when he lightly wakes up middle of the night he expects to be in your arms, instead he finds he

Amazing to see people doing such important work. As an engineer I should really step aside and let these guys run the internet.

I'm assuming you do Frontend? What else? What frameworks would you suggest? I feel I could definitely build a project myself, but I find FE to be very time consuming.

There are very few positions such as this, as most AI/ML companies models are in infancy and will be ready "some day". Even if you find such a role it will be chaotic and not meaningful.

You didn't miss it, you're right. Actors get "S" reputation they can award others periodically. The max amount they can accumulate/award is based on their own reputation. Makes no difference. 1 bot awarding 50 point

It's very very very common. Look at "Who's hiring?" threads - most roles are "Remote/US". Companies do it mostly due to timezone and beurocratic reasons (they can't pay salary/tax abroad).

From my experience, part-time roles are few and far between. (It certainly doesn't help that agents post jobs as part-time only to lure you to apply so they can start nagging you.) The part-time roles that are available are usually eit

Amazing that you skipped login/signup and self-service bootstrapping! Such a great decision. even OAuth/SSO solutions can complicate things, and why spend time on automation before you have the load to justify it? Well done.

I don't mind whiteboard tests, or tests in general, but that is an example of a terrible test. You want production grade code delivered on the spot? AUTOMATED TESTS?!? I wouldn't want to work for you.

That's incorrect. You interview for a specific role, and if you fail the interview you're done. No matter the promise they'll "look for other roles for you".

There are more blind developers than non-binary ones. Perhaps we should add Braille to our business cards besides the he/him they/them descriptors.

I really don't like it. I find I spend my time reviewing Copilot suggestions (which are mostly wrong) rather than thinking about code and actually doing the work.
