Hunter gatherers did not spend the vast majority of their time seeking food. That's a myth that greatly perpetuates this nonsense that technology/progress have benefited mankind. They haven't. Things being better than 200 yea

"I got beat with a stick, why shouldn't he?" What sort of fucked up reasoning is that you have to suffer too? I dont think either the individual nor corporation should be taxed on overseas income but if you disagree that'

Canned tomatoes are almost always better than fresh at a grocery store anyway. Fresh tomatoes need to be picked too early so they're firm when being transported. With canned they can pick at ideal ripeness and can straight away.

I see it a lot particularly with regard to facebook. People take "I have a problem" and turn it in to "this thing is a problem".

I used to charge $90/hour in Australia to set up wordpress brochure websites (and poorly at that). Anyone who thinks that's a lot in the contracting world is undervaluing themselves terribly.

I don't think it's fair to say "no matter who got elected". There are minor political parties that are all about non-interventionism. "no matter who got elected out of the major parties" is more accurate.

Yep, as far as I'm concerned this article is a non-event without data showing this isn't what happened. "Business slightly tweaks marketing expenses" just isn't as attractive and rant inducing.
