No - we have anti-vaxxers because nobody will debate them. Instead we ask them not to post their nonsense and so they just retreat to their echo-chambers and begin reinforcing their views to each other.

If my base salary is competitive, and I get vesting grants on top of that, then I don't see it as a bad thing. If the vesting grants are an excuse to underpay me, then that is a bad thing. An employer's perspective is different to

We literally had this with OpenID. If I remember correctly, it pre-dated Facebook and the flurry of "Login with XXX" type authentications. But the corporations like their walled gardens too much and OpenID fell out of favor.

I would prefer to be persuaded than told what to think. Otherwise, journalists can tell us whatever they want to without any accountability. > Today, this is almost universally seen as a failure of journalism. That is a shame.
