It's something that a lot of professions are specifically trained to avoid. Awareness is a hierarchy. No one can remain hyper vigilant all the time, but you can be trained to remain in a state of relaxed vigilance. In this state, you

Have there been other instances of a company retroactively turning a product the consumer has bought and paid for into borderline malware?

That just made me think...could you poison Google's 'did you mean...' feature that we sometimes use as a defacto spellcheck by seeding the web with a consistently misspelled word all over the place?

It's a little tough with films in particular because you don't really have control over how it will be depicted. Sometimes you might know that a specific shot will be an insert close of a particular panel, but in general the DP an

I've thought about that a lot, and I think new tech adoption relies more on the social framework that's in place around it than we think. Simply put: if it makes you look/seem like an asshole then it's not gonna happen u

I'm not sure it's a problem. It's encapsulaiton. Systems should be designed so that there is a difference between the knowledge required to operate the device and the knowledge required to design/service it.

I fully admit that it's a difficult problem and I don't pretend to have the answers. It's difficult to articulate clearly, but I think my general thought is that it would be good if we could collectively agree that a world wh

I'm so incredibly excited about the possibilities in this field. I recently made the move from film to game dev in hopes that at some point I can work with people on some of these problems. I firmly believe that real time experiences c

I do understand this, and to some extent it can be a valid approach. However, I think that the primary focus should be on fixing the systemic problem you mention. Anything else is just a bandaid at best, and at worst runs the risk of being
