I'd swear that writing Macs as MACs (or MAC's) is a shibboleth of people who don't like Macs.

The haptic feedback on my M1 Air is indistinguishable from the physical click of my 2013 Pro's springboard-design trackpad. Are you maybe comparing it to some low-quality trackpad that has a lot of flex?

Yes, if what you already have is a car-dependent society and a generally unwelcoming city center, people will do exactly that. And there will be even more accidents, pollution, traffic jams, stress, further loss of green space and social co

I'd just like to add some context: People seem to be talking about this much more now because of the prominent placement of the r/fuckcars subreddit's parking lot on the r/place canvas. If the whole fuck-cars premise or

Obviously, the whole anti-car movement, sentiment, whatever we call it, is mostly centered around urban societies. You don't see many stroads, parking lots the size of an European town and multi-hour traffic jams full of single-occupan

That's interesting, so the tank is permanent and you refill it somehow? If yes, how often? Can you do the same thing with natural gas? Does the place you live in have natural gas?

Mac pointing devices have step-less and inertial scrolling, so the scrolling itself is effortless, but the framerate of the "video" is too low, so it's either not fluid enough unless you scroll like crazy.

Not really, I'm daily driving a rooted $300 2019 Xiaomi, but the thing does have an edge-to-edge display, and thin bezels are a godsend for people with small hands, like me.

True, but you could still have a TouchID button on the side. I get price is the main reason, I'm just saying that I personally wouldn't want to be rocking a device designed in 2014 in 2027.

It's a shame it's still using the 2014 design. I don't really care about the camera or the screen tech, but the form factor looks actively retro compared to every other smartphone out there (and every other Apple product (oka
