Yeah, exactly. It's amazing that so many developers use GitHub, which has excellent performance, but don't take any of its lessons with them.

You can't make claims like that without backing them up. I need evidence that Firefox Android users are experiencing 3-5 hour battery life.

Yep, Apple's decisions are all about helping the user. The fact that they also make Apple more money is a total coincidence.

Yeah, if it's only a couple of hours shift then there's not a huge difference, you just do chores a little later than morning people. I'm thinking more in terms of the true night people, those like in the grandparent comment

Just curious, as I'm a morning person, when do you get non-work stuff done? I start work at 8 and stop at 5. From 5 to 8/8:30 I'm doing chores like cleaning up the house, running errands, making dinner, washing dishes. I get

It kept pace with Chrome up until a few years ago, probably around the time that Eich left. Not saying that's causal, I don't know if it is.

Very true, and it was just as true a few years ago when Firefox was able to keep pace. So I think it's fair to say they are slipping.

I'm not sure it's true that Mozilla has rebounded. Only a few years ago it used to be a neck and neck race between Chrome and Firefox to see how quickly new browser features get developed. Now it seems that Chrome has pulled far a

I think that's just a benefit of lisps in general, they don't focus on the academic "look at how smart I am" aspects of FP that the ML languages do.

I don't understand your point. Can Vue update `<input>`? If so it should be able to update any custom element.

I mean, custom elements just shipped in Chrome a few months ago and are shipping in Safari soon. Firefox is in active development. So a bit too soon to say a technology's time has passed when it hasn't really had a chance up until

I probably wouldn't let your build tool choice influence the UI framework choice. Other way around, actually. Polymer has an excellent build tool of its own.
