Another problem with IDs is that they make the "point system" in selectors much more complicated than if you only use classes and elements.

While I think the original Chrome logo maybe had a bit too much “3D”, I think this is a bit too far in the other direction. Something in between this new logo and the previous would probably be appropriate IMHO.

I think people are less critical towards casualties from damns because it’s water, and therefore perceived as natural. I think if 50 000 dies from a oil-related incident you would get some serious backslash against fossil fuels as well. (El

We can control whether we use nuclear power or not. Controlling nature is a little harder. (Though I agree that shutting down power plants in Germany right now is illogical.)

Seems weird to have Arial in the font-stack, as Arial is the default font for sans-serif on Windows. (And Helvetica on OS X which has the same metrics.)

Not sure if I agree about the school. There are schools that offer courses in interaction design. In addition many visual communication courses offer interaction design in addition to the usual print oriented design.

Alignment could refer to alignment of different objects in a design (a website, an application window). The most important function of aAlignment is to communicate what belongs together. Having objects align also makes for a “calmer” design

Same in Norway, that being said: when someone says “mobil” people will usually think of a cellphone and voice communication (or SMS), but that meaning will probably change.
