That would makes this VC a douche if true. Nothing wrong with changing your mind but certainly inform the person you're meeting.

This. Also personal opinion but I'd walk if they blatantly just forgot.

We didn't do much of this at all. We "knew of" some of our competitors by name and some of what they did but we didn't bother digging in, etc. I think (and this is purely an opinion) that when you become focused on your competitors or mor

If you're running VM, it should be perfectly fine. I read about some dual boot issues but I think that can be resolved.

Doesn't solve your exact problem but we own a couple hotspot devices. We don't always have a need for them but use them at least a couple times a month on the go around town so they are more than worth it. When you add in trips whether for

May I ask what's wrong with using Ubuntu on the Air that doesn't fit your criteria. It appears it does.

What's with the constant hums... Has PG always talked like that? Truly curious. No means of disrespect.

I was under the impression it was going to remain open source unless terms have changed. On their Kickstarter page under FAQ, that seems to be the case still. That said, its too early to tell.

I'm not PG but I'd imagine he'd tell you you're chasing after doing ideas for the wrong reason.

You're doing it wrong. Please don't take that first sentence the wrong way. Allow me to elaborate and I hope this helps. 1. Press helps but they are usually "nice to have" but whatever if you don't have them. Unless you're a well funded com

In response to the title of this thread, no. It's ugly. Jobs don't like ugly. That said, I acknowledge the way its designed to attach to the smart cover is pretty cool.

I use to have somewhere closer to 300 domains. Now I have less than 100. 1. The domains I absolutely know I want to keep, I do max 10 year registrations on them, there are about a dozen or so of these. They're usually premium domains or thi

Apple had a prototype where they experimented on this idea with the older Macbook Pro (pre-unibody) so this was quite a few years back. See: http://www.macrumors.com/2011/08/14/photos-of-a-prototype-ma... It was posted on eBay and eventua

1. Don't overthink it or assume any dollar amount. You're only causing your own problems/stress. 2. Try to get an email (maybe off WHOIS) and email the guy to see if he is even interested in selling. 3. Go from there.

Is it too much to ask people to stop blindly following the media in over doing it with shit like this, emphasizing "Apple's manufacturer" when in fact Foxconn manufactures for a wide range of companies. This isn't even in defense of Apple o

Yes, should be... BUT... a quick call to your local Apple store will confirm it for you. I highly recommend doing so as I would hate to give poor advice. The Macbook Pro update is the same as the one I have now so I can't imagine why they w

I LOVE the Apple trackpad. Its the first trackpad worthy of being called one. I didn't realize how insanely awesome it was until I tried going back to older trackpads on Macs (from 2007) or even on any PCs. It is so amazing.

Traditional MBP are upgradeable still. For example, the older MBP (latest) have always max out at 8gb of ram with Apple but you could have gotten up to 16gb with 3rd party ram
