Since this is a commercial product, I'm naturally inclined to compare it to other competing commercial products. Why would I want to use this over figma? The sidepanels and floating toolbar are ripped directly from figma (to the point

It's a wireframing tool akin to figma. You create the design for your website/app there, then hand it over to a programmer who implementd it in html/react/flutter/wpf/etc

I think the idea is more to program the prompter than to program the LLM. He sells a wizard for generating project specs. Anyone can do this with a normal LLM conversation, but I suppose some people forget

Thank you, I've wanted to see someone use this in the real world. When doing Azure certifications (AZ900, AZ204, etc.), they force you to learn about this tool.

I would like to live in this utopia where free software is funded by the state. This seems impossible to get implemented in our world though.

Banks don't just keep your money in a vault when you store it in a bank account - that would be stupid both of both the bank and of you. Money looses value over time due to inflation, so banks reinvest 90% of your stored balance into l

You are completely right about tvc ls recomputing each hash, but I think it has to do this? A timestamp wouldn't be reliable, so the only reliable way to verify a file's contents would be to generate a hash. In my lazy implemenati

Is it possible to commit individual files, or specific lines, without a staging area? I guess this might be against Fossil's ethos, and you're supposed to just commit everything every time?

Interestingly, I looked at github insights and found that this repo had 49 clones, and 28 unique cloners, before I published this article. I definitely did not clone it 49 times, and certainly not with 28 unique users. It's unlikely th

It's bewildering to see privacy-focused companies like Proton and DDG jump on the AI train. I guess privacy is just a vehicle for attracting early adopters, and all those principles fall apart once their user base becomes large enough.
