The 8-Bit Guy has a fantastic video on YouTube comparing a few different methods of restoring yellowed plastic, including the peroxide in the sun method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZYbchvSUDY :)

Author of the tool here. I can definitely see why you might think that, but I don't think it's fair to bring my presumed lack of understanding of the command line up as a reason; especially when some of the documentation[0] is a b

Author of the tool here. I think you raise a good point; and I don't think it overly nit-picky. Personally I don't find myself using the built-in HTTP client at all (and pipe the output of curl instead); but I know people who do.

The durability has been really good. We've just got a regular Kindle Fire with a Kids profile on it; it's taken a real beating and shown no issues. The Kids Edition of the tablet is more expensive, but comes with a very rugged cas

My 3.5 year old loves Monument Valley. It's not something I thought he would have been capable of playing - and he does sometimes "need some help to win" - but he downloaded it himself on Kindle Fire for Kids Unlimited and ju

I've been following this series for a while now and it's been fantastic. In particular I recommend the videos on making an EEPROM programmer with an Arduino. To help me understand everything better I've been writing a kind of

Even on a solo project, `git bisect` by itself is more than enough reason for me to use source control. I could script something similar that ran against my daily backups, but then I'd have to recursively diff two backups to find out w

This guy's YouTube channel [0] features videos of him making stone tools, cutting down a tree, digging up clay, making a kiln, roof tiles and huts; all from scratch. His videos are a great watch, and even with heavy editing it's p
