I fully agree. I think Claude offers me 10x productivity, especially for all these helper apps and technical POCs that I typically create during the week. And that's without even mentioning mail chain replies, analysis of legal or fina

I'm not well versed in this, but I have the basics down: start by finding the bass notes, and add the melody on top. Most of the time the a musical phrase will end on the note that's in the key of the song. Combine the bass note

I've recently taken a legacy Typescript clientside codebase that was using webpack to generate tens of js packages from minutes to seconds by using bun [0] for both dev and build: For dev I replaced webpack with "bun vite": i

This feels very complicated and a lot like yak shaving. I would have just created a programmed shader with some n-D perlin noise on top. Effects like swirl etc are easy, and you can use a range of parameters for the noise input: polar angle

Belgium is phasing out their F16 jets; they are going to be replaced with new F35A jets. So they are donating the F16 planes as the new ones arrive.

This prototype of real see-through augmented reality solution (not using cameras to re-project the real world) seems promising. This could be the catalyst that enables AR solutions with regular looking glasses. In layman's terms, it us

I'm a big fan of Erlang, Elixir, OTP and the BEAM vm. However, I only have very lightweight server needs for my SaaS, so it just doesn't make sense to switch to it, especially as my code is mostly client-based/typescript. If

I have a somewhat comparable history: I've taken a decade to get to the point where my bootstrapped SaaS ARR income is about to surpass my full-time consulting income. It has taken about a decade of switching back and forth between con

To me, an MVP is about reducing functional and non-functional scope: which requirements (functional and non-functional) can I take away from my solution, while still having built something people want? Maybe your MVP doesn't require fu

Exactly. I started my SaaS almost a decade ago, with stints of in-between consulting to finance the whole thing. For the first half of the decade, I used to drink the cool-aid too: rewriting components using the framework-of-the-day, statin

My (layman) path to growth suggestion would be to start with nr 2 using the mechanisms you describe in nr 3 internally ($1M to $3M ARR), and then slowly expand to comparable verticals until you have about $10M to $20M ARR. After that you ca
