Does this make a case for pro-Federal-Government? What would a libertarian say about how a society would prevent these types of accidents?

Google Maps in Oakland took me straight up Fruitvale headed east....which, if you've ever biked it, is a disaster. Yes, it's a "bike lane", but it's shared with cars and suuuuper busy. Google should be smart enough

I'm anti 2A for everyone, but that's shouting into a hurricane until we have fewer guns than humans in the US.

I'd be curious to see how the software accounts for a self-fulfilling prophecy of "you always find what you are looking for".

If we were to do a New Deal-type shift away from the military industrial complex, could the National Guard be pointed at cleaning up "litter" like this? Corps of Engineer-type work being pointed at infrastructure cleanup, which in

Most companies I've worked at fail at the fundamentals in PP. If you can't do the fundamentals, no way to do more.

I play on a 44" 4K Visio and it was okay at 30fps with a 1080p, but I was using the "lower quality" input. When I went from input #1 to #5, boom, 60fps and gorgeous.

Very cool analogy about the beakers and equipment. Something I never considered.

This sounds very bad. It should be all or nothing control, at least that way people will not become marginally complacent, just out of practice (although most drivers can not drive for a month and drive again no problem).

US doesn't have many protections for consumers. We are the country of companies and the populace doesn't have a real voice, just a fake one.

Knowing about France is equivalent to knowing about California. US states behave a lot like EU members and knowing many US states is not indicative of anything.

It's purly cultural, driven by consumerism. Buy a nalgene....we can do better. People should know that they are going to get thirsty at some point.
