Yes, but a cheap treadmill + $3 vs a $4000 treadmill? Kind of a hard sell. Like I’m going to have to go pick up the power splitter myself? I don’t have time for that

You save… uhhh… one power outlet? But really, my understanding is that these fancier treadmills map incline/speed/whatever data to the video file to make it “more realistic”. I think there may even be a sort of MMO/live ghost

I think this claim of how western education works is rather broad, and really depends where you are. Where I live (New Zealand), high school questions are graded based in large part on the methodology used and/or how well you demonstra

As much as I like the fun factor of my magnetic 2nd gen case, it is inherently flawed. The magnets attract magnetic particles, and as the lid is repeatedly closed they're slowly beaten into the plastic and I've never been able to

And of course, governments rarely want to change these laws of antiquity, because it is perceived as being "soft on crime". The optics of it to a lot of the voting population is poor, even if the change is just to be in line with

3 USB drives in a raid setup isn’t any less redundant than 3 SATA drives in the same setup (mathematically anyway, excluding potential bus problems which don’t really seem to be much of an issue these days). Personally I also have a node 30

What do you mean my the funk? Without meaning to sound melodramatic, I’ve been depressed for so long I can cope quite well with it. The additional depressive episodes mostly come and go of their own accord

Some USB drives with a Pi is a decent solution, given that the most cost effective option for HDDs is usually shucking WD easystores anyway. USB HDDs usually have decent vibration damping and cooling also. USB might be less ideal than SATA,

Here's my anecdotal experience as a relatively young person. I have some form of untreated (and admittedly self diagnosed) long term depression, and experience depressive episodes in addition to that (yes, I've tried exercising. Y
