I agree, the writing style is quite weird and there are a lot of AI tells.

It's interesting that people have directly opposite opinions on whether Deno or Bun are meant to be used with the existing ecosystem - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46125049

Good question, hard to say, but I think it's mainly because of Zig. At its core Zig is marketed as a competitor to C, not C++/Rust/etc, which makes me think it's harder to write working code that won't leak or crash

As far as I know, modern Node compat in Deno is also quite great - I just import packages via 'npm:package' and they work, even install scripts work. Although I remember that in the past Deno's Node compat was worse, yes.

As someone who have been using Deno for the last few years, is there anything that Bun does better? Bun seems to use a different runtime (JSC) which is less tested than V8, which makes me assume it might perform worse in real-world tasks (m

A bit interesting that they used Deepseek 3's architecture for their Large model :)

The idea is great; the actual implementation is, frankly, horrible. First of all, there are only 27 "slop" image examples, but 200 real ones - very bad ratio. And almost all real examples are just dated photographs, paintings, pho

Not sure why you're being downvoted, your observation is very correct here, newer models are indeed a lot better, and even at the time that foundational model (even if fine tuned) might've been worse than a commercial model from O

There are tons of websites that will happily swap Monero for Ethereum, and then you can use it to pay. Most of those websites never actually do KYC or proper fund verification, unless you're operating on huge amounts or is suspicious i

It is absolutely a product of the model, GPT-5 behaves like this over API even without any extra prompts.

Are you aware that you can achieve that by going into Personalization in Settings and choosing one of the presets or just describing how you want the model to answer in natural language?

100-120 hour working weeks sound implausible and very exaggerated. If you are actually working for that long, you should probably stop. Zero customers after 18 months is also not a very good look. """ This is AI-validated, pr

The concept (the X link) is AI-generated with Midjourney, the game isn't.

Two other replies to this comment seem to have missed the fact that the inspiration for the game is AI-generated, the game itself is not made with AI.

Is there a reason why you used an LLM for the entire article, and moreover, even for this comment? Couldn't you have at least written this comment yourself?

The situation is interesting, and self-hosting is indeed a very nice solution often. However, I wanted to comment on the article itself - it seems to be very heavily AI-edited. Anyone who has spent time with LLMs will easily see it. But eve

The funny thing is that even in this area Anthropic is behind other 3 labs (Google, OpenAI, xAI). It's the only one out of those 4 that requires you to manually set cache breakpoints, and the initial cache costs 25% more than usual con

GPT-5 Pro is different from GPT-5 just like o3 Pro is different from o3 and o1 Pro is different from o1 :) OpenAI doesn't want to tell the truth, but it might be something similar in the spirit to e.g. Entropix. [0] [0] https:/&#

When did you last update Codex? You can queue up messages without interrupting, and I think a lot of other complaints you made could be already solved. They put out new Codex versions multiple times a week lately

You can use Codex CLI with an API key instead of a subscription, but then you won't have access to this new GPT-5 Codex model, since it's not out on the API yet. But normal GPT-5 in Codex is perfectly fine.
