Where is your dividing line here? You say "[a] country filled with Arabs, Africans, and Afghans isn't Germany" and then question someone who wants to preserve their child's Israeli and Austrian heritage. Trying to use ge

This is the first time I've seen "do it for the exposure" in the wild ( http://theoatmeal.com/comics/exposure ). And you even called the other person disingenuous (albeit in jest). I'm impressed.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't iDreamSky one of China's largest third-party Android app stores? You could say that each Google Play customer is punching above their weight, but GooglePlay+Amazon+AmazonUnderground+i

Aren't public schools supposed to have special education resources? I don't know about other schools but the schools I grew up in had disabled students. They just often weren't in the same classes as the higher-achieving kids

I agree with the spirit of your comment, but you seem to be contradicting yourself. How can nothing have changed about the school? Schools derive a great deal of their funding from property taxes. You just described a school district dramat

That submission is about colleges. This submission is about high schools. The differences in quality between high schools is drastically more varied than differences in quality between colleges.

MyLifeOrganized has that (look at 'Dependencies' - http://www.mylifeorganized.net/#comparison-table ) but I think it's probably too robust (and expensive) for the average person.

Why? If anything, Snapchat's success shows that they don't need a desktop version. Mobile usage in the U.S. now exceeds desktop usage. I'm having a hard time believing that anyone on the Snapchat team is stressing out about h

This depends on the structure of control in the companies. Anyone familiar with Facebook and Google knows that Zuckerberg pulled some fantastic manipulation of board seats and Brin and Page created a new class of voting shares that are 10x

Why couldn't long press do both? Make "wiggle icons" the top app shortcut or something. ("Move icon" would probably be a less silly name.) You don't see how what you just wrote is drastically more complicated t

A right-click equivalent already existed: a long press. 3D Touch is the long press controlled by finger pressure instead of time pressed. It took an already hard-to-discover feature and made it more nuanced (that is, more complicated).

You think that the average consumer has no videos, games, or music on their phone? (And we forgetting photos and various other types of apps.) You sound like when data plan providers say "Our average customer doesn't use that much

Yeah, if you're someone who's already spending three days a week at the gym, you probably don't need a Fitbit. Especially in the GP's case where it seems like he may have substituted his gym time with a Fitbit.

I was just thinking that PIA would be the perfect candidate for a honeypot, especially since it's under USA jurisdiction. Does the "probably" make it sound like I'm making a claim? I can change it if you'd like.

Yeah, GP is right in that you can't trust VPNs (for example, PIA is probably a massive honeypot for all we know.) However, if you're using a VPN outside of the jurisdiction of the "Fourteen Eyes", you've substantial
