Not like C. Try building a xor-linked list in Java.

Not like C. They are not comparable. You get a reference to something you allocate on the heap, and you can have primitives on the stack. But you cannot take a reference to a primitive, or a reference to another reference, or a reference to

You're proposing a technical solution to a political problem. It doesn't work, this should be fixed at the source.

I'm not so sure, I remember being unable to sleep after watching 'The Mummy' in my early teens because I found the idea of scarabs crawling under my skin particularly horrific, but haven't really noticed an effect since.

I doubt it. Since you don't hold copyright over any part of LLVM you have no standing to sue for copyright infringement, so people using your GPL-but-otherwise-unmodified LLVM can ignore the GPL.

I thought the point of having something GPL licensed would be that you actually get to enjoy/enforce the copyleft clauses of the GPL. By just relicensing an existing non-copyleft project and not following up with any significant develo

What would be the point of that? Upstream will never accept GPL licensed patches and your fork is also available under the Apache license from the original source (except the readme changes that nobody cares about).

A binary number is a power of two iff only a single bit is set, so pretty trivial to implement.

I think the difference is largely uninteresting in this debate. Personally I enjoy eating meat and don't see myself giving it up entirely. I think there is a reasonable middle ground between 'we continue eating like we do now'

Hundreds of millions of Asians are vegetarian or vegan. It's not like these diets were invented yesterday.

May I ask what kind of data you are storing that you need millions of tables? If you have such varied data, what are the tradeoffs compared to only a few tables with json columns?

In defense of the sunlight claim, significantly more people have easy access to sunlight than to environments with above normal oxygen concentrations.

These consent forms are not about cookies. They cover all forms of tracking, whether by cookie, local storage, ip adres, browser fingerprint, or any other technique.

It literally is "no tracking until opt in" under the GDPR, and websites voluntarily choose to force the dialogue on you in the hope you might accept. Nobody is forcing them to do so.
