That is a creative interpretation that does not seem in line with the text of the GDPR. > Consent should not be regarded as freely given if the data subject has no genuine or free choice or is unable to refuse or withdraw consent without

You can sue anyone for just about anything. But it doesn't seem like a very winnable case to me. Maybe in some crazy jurisdictions. Many places have 'good Samaritan' laws that protect people who are not medical professionals

The man has a pretty good explanation in that case, iff there was a good reason to administer CPR. So what would it cost the rescuer, exactly? Unless you start undressing every unconscious woman you encounter, even if they seem to have no o

I imagine most humans have error rates worse than that. And what does 'error rate' even mean in that context? A small delay or a catastrophic failure ending in death and destruction?

The votes seem to be going the other way now :-) I've heard people prefer JSON over XML because XML is too complex... and now we have json schemas, jsonpath... the namespaces can't be far away. I'll admit that XML probably wo

How does it suck harder? Sure, the closing tags can be a bit annoying (but decent editors can insert those automatically), but attributes don't have that problem, and contrary to JSON it has comments.

Why would one believe such a silly thing? If I heard a doctor was accused (or even convicted) of shoplifting that wouldn't ruin the credibility of the lives they have saved. If Galileo was also a racist and a murderer that wouldn'

What would that screenshot prove, without the original image next to it? All it proves was that something was reported, but Facebook disagreed. Could be something horrific, or it could be a picture of a tree. There is no shocking news sto

Depending on the jurisdiction taking screenshots might be a crime in itself. And I doubt that this would make a good news item, it's not like the newspapers can reprint the material in question or the url, so it's unlikely that an

As I recall the GC will only touch things that have been deleted for some time (a month?), that's a long time to correct accidental deletions. Garbage is created every time you amend or rebase. What is the value of keeping around commi

Often such functions can be rewritten to perform some operations "inside" the option. For example: fn is_equal_to_ten(n: Option<u32>) -> bool { n.map(|n|n == 10).unwrap_or_default() }
