Unfortunately there is no recipe for rapidly re-booting yourself, your motivation or anything about you. There are some red flags here. The request of your presence in the office, not having a roadmap, missing features / bugs list, etc

if they solved your problem, use one of them. reinventing things takes much longer time than building something with them. there is already plenty of great frameworks running in the wild. backbone, ember and angular.js have their own great

as a developer, i don't need them to be different than each other as they are mostly open source so i can take a good look at what they have done, how they've done it and many other things. i'd like to think such applications
