Didn't he just say Travelocity owned the tickets? If the airline's not directing the stranders to where they can actually buy flights (or the flights are too expensive on e.g. Travelocity), there will be empty seats.

This sounds too much like GiveawayOfTheDay.com. They don't charge, so all they can give away is pure crap software.

The "fence" part has to physically move. What you are describing - no moving parts required - is basically a hologram.

Yes, there were many dead babies per living baby, but if each pair of parents only had one child, the population would halve each generation. More likely, there were some families that had a higher survival rate and kept the death babies in

Is this just a scientific study, or will I gain anything useful for daily life? This is a looong article.

OK, I guess I was wrong about the dates. I must have glossed over that sentence. The point about my boss is that the things he gets excited about, while they do sort of make sense, have been proven untrue by further science. A correlation t

Seriously, if she's so insecure about being unemployed, she should maybe get a job, not try to control what you talk about. Am I missing something here?

I'm sorry, I still can't quite understand what you're saying. However, I now know that you're not a native speaker, so I can't really hold it against you. But your blog still can't be popular among people who can't understand it. Do you kno

This is a tech that was built a long time ago and still hasn't found a use. Also, my boss thinks they're the next computer revolution. This is a man who believes that the asteroid Apophis will probably hit the earth in 2036 and that the Sun

I couldn't quite understand the message due to all the extraneous commas, but it seems to be the same one Ferris talks about in 4 Hour Work Week. Also, it mentions unexpected crap popping up but not how to deal with that. It's like, OK, let

Sure it's stealth mode; you're trying to get by unnoticed. The difference is who you don't want to be noticed by - in classic stealth mode, it's everyone; here it's just potential competitors. Perhaps the old stealth mode could be more appr

So do you never use such structures in speech? They're a way of getting the point across clearly and succinctly. Just because they taught you it's "wrong" in school doesn't mean that it doesn't have value.
