There will probably be overlap. If you are an Azure customer you use Azure, if not you use OpenAI.

We do have gc.ca, but I think it’s maybe legacy? https://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/tbsc-fsco/sc-hme.jsp?lang=en... works but servicecanada.gc.ca redirects to canada.ca

Yes, any change in embedding models will make the embeddings incompatible (they may still work somewhat if the model architecture is similar), but unless you have massive amounts of data the embedding itself generally doesn’t take too long.

The pendulum swing is common in any system, and is a really effective mechanism for evaluation. You almost always want somewhere in the middle, but it’s often much easier to move back after a large jump in one direction than to push towards

I think this is likely more of an energy storage project, rather than an energy production one (which seems to be the stance the article takes). At grid-level, battery tech is challenging, requiring technologies like pumped storage that req

I've also then seen the stevia-sweetened products advertised as "No added sugar and no artificial sweeteners", which is infuriating when searching for unsweetened (or under-sweetened) products.

Took a look at them in Wayback, and the images of other women look similarly styled (could be other models?), and the numbers and testpat images use the Lena image as part of them.

If all of their friends are socializing mostly, or exclusively, on social media then it could definitely be worse. They could easily miss out on in-person social interactions that are planned on social media as well, or just feel out of the

One example would be a project like Folding@Home but with much more sensitive/personal information. Organizations/universities could compute on data provided by a custodian organization without having to care about data handling.

It would be useful to have control data sets as well, from those without cancer/illness. This is a problem in a lot of medical research where those affected with an ailment are much more likely to share data, participate in trials, and

I’ve personally never worked on one much, but you have to keep (at least) two branches active for a release. Main development would happen on a shared feature branch (to be larger merged), but you also need to keep master/main updated

Ideally in a system like this, you don't just look at a single user and a single point (e.g. 100x data transfer in a day), you build out scoring based on a multitude of factors and across related agents/assets, and hopefully you h

I think it’s because the free and OSS tools are of such a high quality for developers. There is a much bigger chasm between GIMP and Photoshop than there is between VS Code (with plugins) and JetBrains. It’s hard for many to get over the fa

While it doesn't have a ton of power, the Vive Flow[0] seems like a great form factor. A few more years of miniaturization and advancements, you will probably see some much more capable VR headsets in a more glasses-like form. They wei

“This is FUD because it’s already happening and there is nothing you can do about it” is a weird take. Just because something is possible doesn’t mean that making it harder isn’t worthwhile. Perfect is the enemy of good, after all.
