This is very cool to see a company do good things for under served groups of the population that don't contribute a giant chunk to the bottom line. Good on you Regal and Sony!

I think these are very good points. I guess I simply hope for the sake of humanity that a practical real world applicational use for 3D printing is not guns! I appreciate your thoughts, cheers!

Call me a simpleton or luddite if you will, but I don't even have a regular printer at my home and I don't see a good reason to have a 3D printer either. Also, a non-techie like my brother (who probably wouldnt use this anyways) can barely

Yes this would help for optimizing a giant site, but the author is referencing codeschool...that is like throwing a middle school football player into the NFL. Some things truly don't need that level of CS proficiency now-a-days.

Everyone who has shipped a production site knows that codeschool doesn't have a mission to teach you "programming", so much as a stripper does not want to have sex with you. They are both meant to tease and entice you. Given the author refe

:) true, but I always tend to learn from the way people work going from nothing to a finished something (even if it's small). Maybe I'm thinking about it too much and I just need to do it!

I really love the flat design trend. Does anyone know of any good photoshop/illustrator tutorials that teach this new trend?

Glass is such a personal experience that is not able to be shared with the world and can really only be explained by "you just have to try it". I am rooting for glass, but I have no idea how it will overcome the d-bag who always has their b

I love the addition of Chris Bosh! After coding being hard, in general, I believe that our industry's biggest challenge is it becoming "sexy" or having role models that a vast amount of people can connect with!
