Rust is adding new features at the speed of C++/C# which is quite bad imo, it's good a recipe to have different code base / way of doing things in just couple of years apart. Now for Rust there are many things that could be c

No one really care about binary size increase , especially because you can run a Go binary in a docker image with 0 dependencies ( scratch image ) which has a very small size.

The backend tech for Teams is so bad that you receive notifications of something even before it appears on screen which is terrible UX wise, the UI tells you something is happening but it's actually happenning 2sec later.

Looks like the hack was made exactly how it was done for EA using stolen Slack cookie: https://www.vice.com/en/article/7kvkqb/how-ea-games-was-hack... There was a huge leak for Diablo 4 two weeks ago as well.

I know why people use Lua with Nginx, my point is it's always slower and less safe than x.y.z feature already built in the application.

I think the biggest change here is moving Lua code executed by Nginx to pure Rust, executed some third party code is always slower and more fragile that doing it nativaly into your own service. That and have the architecture that fits exact

How can it be faster than a static page that is already in memory, the bytes are there you just send them over a socket? Transforming some template to rust code back to string buffer is somehow faster?

I did not look at the implementation but since they offer pure TCP exposure it should work juste fine byt resolving the DNS, when you use a TCP service there is no host header in the protocol.
