Anti cheat is hard, very hard, and you will always those kind of false positive. What I can say is that a lot of people say they don't cheat but they actually cheat.

It's mind blowing that removing a single k/v in an http post would lead to unlock any cars... wtf seriously. Like how can you not test that, the POST to fetch token should be bulletproof.

You're saying that grpc and protobuf are over engineered but you're happy with Spring? gRPC and protobuf are just transport and serialization, they have nothing to do with business logic, on the other hand Spring is a heavy, bloat

Why people keep saying 1B+, 1T+ compagny, if you don't want bugs don't use software, the size of the compagny does not matter.

There are other problems such a null vs empty string in the database for example. Once you start dealing with API + conversion + db, if your language exposse null, it will be painful.

I think it's not possible to achieve with func name on its own, the closest thing I see would be comments on the function but again not reliable imo.

Only the type Car matters, why would the function name tells you anything about mutation? It does not tells you if you receive *Car or Car or if it's a Car but pointers inside.

If you rely on naming function to know if things can be mutated you're doing things wrong. The only source of truth is the type received.

It's ok, for good Java dev I assume they know at least how to troubleshoot performance issue with JFR, if you need to go deeper in native / perf events that's more the job of a very senior or perf people.

This issue could happen in any language, as a matter of fact it was happening in native JVM code ( C++ ).
