You can set env variable for the go toolchain with a command such as: go env -w TELEMETRY=off which will be written to disk and use by the go cli.

This is naive, no one ever turn telemetry on if it's turned off by default, that's the reason why it's on by default.

Very popular programming language and IDE have telemetry on by default, VSCode, C#, Java etc ... People act like they discover telemetry in 2023. I don't think it's a big deal, ultimately it's to improve Go and the proposal m

> Game devs are the worst paid devs of any industry. Not really, if you work for a major dev in a US / Canadian compagny you're ok, it's not FANG level but it's higher than your regular web dev.

Pather tracing / ray tracer are very easy to implement because it requires basic programming concept. It's all about the math not really programming. You can copy paste from one language to another.

I don't understand how using WebAssembly can reduce memory consumption since container runtime don't add any. Running your app natively or in Docker should not change the memory usage.

There is only one good answer to that, you should use what you already know, if you build an MVP it's to deliver a product, it's not meant to spend 2-3x more time to learn new tech.

The main issue I have with Ruby / Python is the fact that it's duck typed, it makes the maintenance and refactor pretty hazardous. You get objects you don't know what's in there, 6 month later someone changed it, no comp
