I don't see the connection to being sent to war: It seems like you are trying to say "because this (war) is more unpleasant, you have nothing to complain about", which makes no sense.

I had a quick look, and I can't see where the EFF accepts donations in Facebook Credits, Xbox Points or Farmville Farm Coins. (Removed section related to your original comment).

Why shouldn't they? It seems perfectly reasonable to exclude customers if they are unprofitable: in this case, it may be that google is willing to take a hit in the short term, with the view to allowing them to strongly innovate in the futu

In what respect? For the average person, its likely irrelevant (its a micro-detail you simply don't need to care about: you would be more interested in "made from oats" or "made from rice" (irrespective of the products gluten content)).

The built in dev tools are comparable (and personally, better) than the full firebug plugin. firebug lite doesn't quite cut it.

You can see the direct result of that: lots of ajax'y functionality, and the reduction of full page refreshes.

Its not something that could be changed from the current "default" without high risk of big impact. There would be need to introduce a new header to trigger SSL based caching, and migrate towards simply not sending the old/normal cache head

For a long, long time now, MS services (not directly tied to Hotmail itself) have required a Live account only, which can be created with any email address.

It's a shame it's a ROM flash, and not an app available for rooted phones. I don't think I'm willing to give up cyanogen's features.

I really hate when designers use flash for basic text elements without some sort of backup text behind it. My proxy blocks flash, and this results in a very broken website.

Why not something more easily understood by everyone: "You are now aware that you are breathing". I think the implementation here is quite interesting; pigeonholing it into the idea of a "filter" is probably missing the point.

Thanks for the clarification, I mis-understood the pricing table. The total would then be ~$50USD, still a unpleasant price (NB. I don't think the price is unreasonable for the service, just something "hidden" in the blog post: If it was cl

From what I can work out, shipping internationally is going to set me back ~$65USD, pretty much doubling the price. $25 : join fee. $15 : monthly fee (cancel immediately). $50 : shipping fee (assuming its about 500grams or so).
