It's not a reset button. There's a surrender button and a rout button. If you haven't starved to death you get to pick one.

Fighting on the stairs would be kinda silly. Better to wait outside the doorway so that after your attackers are done running up the stairs with armor and weapons, you and your pals are waiting there at the choke point to layeth the smacket

I used to feel that way until they found the Higgs boson. No one would implement that. Too much effort and risk compared to just hardcoding the relevant masses. Ancestor simulation programmers have deadlines.

There was a brief golden age where it wasn't so bad, banded on both sides by dark ages. Some time in the 90s. Trying to remember the last time you could get away with just printing in blue if the black ran out.

Reddit never had experts. Maybe for half a minute. It became an echo chamber fast: fake internet points to be gained for saying what got upvoted last week, or to be lost for saying anything different.

You don't like Kiki the Cyber Squirrel? LibreOffice nearly got a Tyson Tan mascot called Libbie the Cyber Oryx. She was silently eliminated from the initial round of votes, in favor of a bunch of half-assed attempts that included two b

Cool. Glad you're more tuned into that cohort's capacity for reflection. I don't seek it out, so what I see is usually more of the "old guy lamenting what younger people do" variety. But that's great. Sorry you

I'm not sure how old Matt Ruby is. He's either an old Gen X or a young Boomer. Boomer-on-Boomer rock criticism seems like it should be valid.
