The author is also hidden from anyone who would be authorizing payment. The only person involved who might know the author is the guy making the game, and they likely used what leverage they had on their own contract.

Even if they have a computer, it's not necessarily going to be an Apple computer. Unless you're a developer, interoperability between your mobile hardware and your desktop hardware is barely a concern.

The problem isn't putting the content onto the device, that's very easy to do. The problem is that the content isn't being published in any offline-viewable formats anymore, so there's nothing to transfer.

I'd hesitate to even call Witcher 1 the same genre as the later 2. The original's combat is just a blend of old school crpg and oddly rhythm games (with the sword styles all requiring clicking in a different rhythm pattern)
