The old scroll direction was tied to pushing the scroll bar button up to move the screen down. “Natural” scrolling ties the movement to the window content and makes much more sense once you get over the old habit. I took me about half a day

By requiring full screen windows that method is a non-started for those of us who don’t use Apple’s full screen. I find that it isolates app from each other too much. I’m almost always working with multiple apps at once.

I think, for now, the answer to that is to plug in power through USB-C if you need more than 2 hours of continuous usage.

It could certainly replace mine if I had one. My husband doesn’t like to watch things on that kind of screen and we have very different tastes in viewing so we are generally watching things separately. Our together time is doing other thing

If the earphones were AirPods you would be able to hear each other talk wiht transparency mode turned on. It doesn’t block external sounds.

Yes, the old grid layout was not good for anything that you didn’t access frequently. It was sometimes hard to find things if you didn’t already know where to look. I agree that the actual settings controls and panel layouts are not as good

It's not in the US, but it seems some people have become socially fearful. I think that there is an artificial sense of risk possibly driving by 24x7 news and social media that prey on people's fears and anxieties.
