Do you have any tricks on suppressing verbalization? I've found that it feels really wasteful when I realize that half my thoughts are just acting as a translator for the abstract side, instead of keeping it abstract until I get to som

This is interesting, because this is close to how I'd describe my thoughts. Occasionally I can go fully abstract with good focus, but most of the time I'm monologuing. Do you ever find yourself struggling to switch over to abstrac

In theory, the electric car should require less long term maintenance as well, as there are dramatically fewer moving parts. These items wouldn't emerge in the first five years (and you probably have less to worry about in a Toyota) bu

It doesn't seem they're questioning the data, they're questioning the motives of the title, and the implication that the housing should be redistributed to the homeless. I absolutely disagree with their position, but I can se

Funny anecdote from using Socket.io for the first time several years ago. Some friends and I were building a fairly standard CRUD webapp, and we misunderstood some Socket.io documentation, thinking it handled the session separation under th

Apple seems to have given non-answers, or entirely avoided, several questions on here. Is this par for the course on probes, was information redacted, or are there going to be consequences for Apple here?

If somebody could tell you when, they would be able to massively profit from this. Current thought from finance industry are leaning towards a crash next year, but I don't think anyone would bet the farm on it.

I don't think OP is referring to Apple's permanent inability to be reliable, but rather the current MBP series. That keyboard is atrocious, and there is no alternative to it. Maybe the 2020 MBP design refresh will fix the issues,
