For large organisations the amount of entries in the dropdown is probably very large. To fill the dropdown would then require significant work on the server, and to build up and show the dropdown would require significant work on the client

The redirect is for the humans. The page that does the redirect is for the applications, like Slack and Twitter. They will use the meta tags on that page to show a "social media preview".

Unfortunately the browser implementations of the HTML5 datepicker only make sense for an audience that understands the US date notation. They can't be configured, as far as I know.

Java enums also have functions. If they didn't we would need to write separate helper classes. Can you give a reason why we should not have them?

This is off-topic and not a criticism, my apologies if it is not well received. I am not sure if I worded this correctly. It helps to have some kind of introduction if we want to share our work with a wider audience. For this kind of topic

I do believe that online feed readers will only pull the feed once per x minutes for all their subscribers, instead of pulling the feed n times per x minutes. For example, all of Feedly's subscribers will only count for one pull.
