As a foreigner, some view making business with the US as shady in of itself. I usually stand by the US legal system, (which even american citizens might find laughable), but this is by far the most likely reason I would distance myself from

I wrote about this on a Tor thread. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47279518 It looks like Hetzner is Tor (and Tor adjacent) friendly, I suggested this might affect IP reputation, 2 users responded they had no IP reput

This reminds me of the time a trainee dev was doing some work on a security module to hide the IP of the server. Just spending energy on a non threat.

I remain skeptical, security is not a notch that you can turn, you can't shove more money or more tokens and make the thing more security. Not saying security will never be dominated by AI like it happened with chess, with maps, with G

I think the AI thing also transforms functional requirements into technical requirements, often incorrectly. "I want to build a website" gets converted into: "I'm looking for someone with 5+ years of 'hands on'

You can kind of circumvent that law by keeping the recordings in house. What we have in argentina is an Habeas Data law, if someone has data about you, you can ask for it, (or ask it be amended or deleted. Pretty simple right? The home bit

I think the notion that data would be a home is beyond weak, but the explanation you gave for why isn't solid either, since the objects of data do not need to and in this case haven't consented. That is, recordings of people in pu
