As far as I have tried, at least chatgpt basically cannot do brainfuck. I think it might just be too far from natural language. It basically just gives you hello worlds with randomly injected characters.

I wonder, how many of those are software companies that also do some hardware, and how many of those are like, proper EE companies. Electrical engineers tend to be really stubborn about their tools after all.

So far I got it to hallucinate me a formula, which gave me half the frequency I asked for on a 555 circuit. Also, I got it to connect the data lines on a usb C port to a micro, but it only connected A7(D-) and B6(D+), which doesn't see

There kind of is a full framebuffer in the display driver chip. You just tell it to draw a square somewhere, and the square will stay there. One of the most limiting factors of the display is actually the spi bus to the display, only runnin

I think it might just be related to city density, you need a lot of people in a small area to make conbinis work. (I know they are in rural areas in japan as well, but my guess is that they are either loss leaders, or are possible because o

I went to Japan with some friends for 3 weeks, and we just couldn't figure out how these stores are stocked, we didn't see any familymart, 7 eleven or lawson trucks. At some point we just kinda assumed everything was stored frozen

Error correction doesn't make it impossible to change a message by flipping bits, you just have to change enough bits, and know which bits to flip. I wouldn't rule out, that if you are being smart about it, you might be able to ch

Ah, I didn't know that, well then, if people are already used to this system. Clearly it is the easiest solution then.

How about a system like the one dutch highschools use. In that system, the students get the books from school at the start of the year and return them at the end of the year (the school owns the books). That way the books are for sure reuse

Keep in mind that the 13 doesn't have the expension bay, nor the input modules. I really do want those 2 features, so U am strongly considering the 16", even if it is a little big for my taste.

Yup, if they hadn't terminated it, surely they'd have just waited until they entered a less dense part of the atmosphere, stabilized, and continued the flight. Just with some delta-v lost. And if that wouldn't have worked, th

I don't really see the point of buying a bigger car for your own safety. What is the point of you not being injured if you just killed someone else. You might be physically okay, but you'll be mentally scarred for life.

Though, maybe not that specific processor. Maybe more like a severely underclocked 8 core, or some really old 4 core. Having only a one core to develop with is gonna seriously hinder the development of multicore optimizations.

I mean, honestly, I think all devs should. Except maybe the people who work on such cutting edge stuff that they already need every bit of optimization they can get, even on their $2k+ pc.
