Not that I necessarily agree, though I can see the logic, they are suggesting that ads that promote destructive behavior be opt in. Things such as gambling, smoking and (though somewhat debate-ably) alcohol all fall into this category. Rega

You're argument is drifting dangerously close to Roko's Basilisk. ( http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Roko%27s_basilisk ) The entire idea that an AI would value revenge seems ridiculous to me. What would it have to

I don't mean to be demeaning, but in situations like this, admitting your ignorance on a subject is a great first step, but the next is learning how to best phrase questions. Here, you would be better off asking about the parts you don

This reminds me of a concept I have been toying with for a while now that I would love to see implemented. What I would absolutely adore is a wiki styled over the idea of covering mathematical topics in the style of a programming API, and t

The issue is, is that DRM fails abysmally at this, all it takes is a couple minutes and someone with the right software, and -poof- your DRM is gone, and next thing you know, it's on the pirate bay, easier to acquire than legitimate me

This makes me realise the potential that a supposed "Math API" has. Mathematical functions described visually, with unambiguous terms, and even properly named variables so they can be implemented even if you don't understand
