I learned about "too much contrast" from a type designer that painted typefaces by hand. We were taught not to use pure black ink on white paper because it's a bit less legible than softer contrast. I'm not sure why it&#

Agreed we shouldn't speak so broadly, but let's not be naive here. Part of the reason California legalized adult filmmaking was to reduce trafficking. In California they have agents, everywhere else they have pimps. Just one examp

"An intelligent assistant" is the second bullet point on the product page. If "people commenting about how Siri sucks are missing the point" then so are Apple's copywriters.

Couldn't we argue that the devs reasonably knew it was being used for money laundering? It got a light shined on it during the investigation of the crypto.com hack. If so, they knew they were profiting off of it, right? [1] Tornado Cas

For fun: were the developers making the software to knowingly profit off of criminal behavior, and to what degree? Can someone smarter than me talk about how we might judge the mens rea and criminal intent of the developers?

Please refrain from replies without content. Why did the FEC fine the DNC and Clinton for violating rules related to the Steele dossier? My understanding is that the DNC also has a few dollars. Did they forget their bias?

Thank you for contributing to the discussion, enjoy downvotes as your reward. I had similar issues with signups from Proton. I use the service myself so I didn't want to block it at the domain level, I hope they address this soon.
