It could, with IndexedDB or similar, but then you have a massive conversation history being stored on user devices. Space is a precious commodity on phones.

Let me preface this by saying I work in security and use Signal. That said, the security industry can be incredibly obtuse at times. End users don't care. Full stop. Having the best encryption isn't a selling point to the masses.

Yea, there is one more level of nesting, you can group tabs but it is a manual effort. I mostly use that when I want to collapse a bunch of pages relevant to a single project that I'm not working on. What problem does the knowing where

I use a similar tab layout in Vivaldi and it's amazing. Page titles are wide, stacking them vertically along the side makes a lot more sense.

That expense isn't high, but you also have to own (unless something has changed in recent years) a Apple device to develop on and an Apple device to test on. I own a Linux laptop and an Android phone. If I wanted to write an iOS app I

Correct. I've identified the following as triggers for sinus headaches in myself and cut them out; gluten, caffeine, sodium nitrites, monsodium glutamate, sugar. I also don't eat fruit because of sugar. I just take vitamins to get

Yea, I'm celiac and sodium nitrite is one of the foods I cut out. Might not affect everyone but it definitely messes with me. The uncured bacon products usually have celery powder which also contains sodium nitrite. Plain pork belly is

No it's not. Your phone number is associated with an identifier that is used to talk to cell towers. The (US) cell providers (were) sell(ing) real time location data of their subscribers. No amount of encrypted chat is gonna fix that.

I deleted my account last year. I made a new account this year (fake name, no photo) to try out some adspend. The adspend was ineffective and I should probably delete that one too.

I usually just say gluten allergy because most restaurant staff don't know what celiac is. It's not accurate but it gets the point across.

It is totally awesome that function similarity is seeing the light of day. Google bought Zynamics way back when and their work has evolved a lot since then. This sort of work has big implications in signature generation for malware samples,

Right now you can't close a tab with ctrl+w if the "Would you like to see desktop notifications?" dialog is up. For a second I thought this was a fix for that.

I'm excited for kill switches, mostly the baseband one. Cell providers sell real time location data. I will be happy knowing that my phone is doing no communication when I want it to.

I get physical dependence on sugar. My other comment in this thread details it a bit. If I eat sugar regularly I get small sinus headaches that are unpleasant, but bearable. When I cut it out I go into full withdrawal. I recognize that the

I strongly agree with this. I cut out sugar because I was getting sinus headaches. When I cut it out (multiple times) I would go through full withdrawal (massive sinus headache, cold sweat, shakes, vomiting). There are hundreds of articles
