I went the opposite route and moved to a language that, while not the most performant, championed the idea of developer happiness (Ruby). > if you don’t Like something, change it. This is also super important, and a good point make. Don&

Cool seeing this tool come up on HN. 5 years ago when I was getting into programming I came across this and made a visualization for one of my favorite libraries at the time, SFML ( https://www.sfml-dev.org/ ) https:/&#

As a dev for Slickdeals, I can tell you this was not planned on our side haha. Once the deal was caught by one of our mods, the site went into a frenzy. Unfortunately I was AFK during the deal, but this will go down as one of the best price

As did I, but I just couldn't get over how slow it was. Startup time on windows was rough, meaning I had to remove it as a default editor almost immediately for most filetypes. Worse off, opening large files would grind Atom to a halt

Cool stuff! I also wrote a maze generator awhile back[1] that was coupled with the A* algorithm, but it doesn't make those cool circular mazes or anything. C++11 is also a big plus, loving the modern C++ style. [1]: https://

I wrote https://www.smsforecast.com using Angular2 and personally love the changes made from 1.X, I'm happy to see 4.0 come out along with it's bug fixes and features. 1.X felt messy, but writing web apps in Angular &g
