So I did a roadtrip recently on my EV. It was over 7000km. Not once I experienced any of issues you describe. I agree I drive below 120 km/h per speed limits where I live. Also, I don't believe you. How do you manage to spend who

I believe fuel cells with ubiquity of electricity is just beating the dead horse. Like, what are cons and pros? EVs: + Much simpler design + Literally zero maintenance required + Centralized power production is extremely effic

This reads really nice. I felt like it was a satirical novel for my kind of nerd. Love this

When I was in University this was called overfitting to be honest. This doesn't seem to perform well outside of eval sets.

This is amazing! Consider potentially adding support for WebSpeech api to make it easier. Something like const voice = speechSynthesis.getVoices().filter(e => e.lang==='zh-HK').at(-1) const utterance = new SpeechSynth

It is very strange idea to equate life experiences gained before 18 of people born in 21st century in 18th century. Also, as outsider, I would never understand US fascination with "Founding Fathers". Some folks born about 300 year

Local model - no. Using deepseek.com - absolutely. Do not put anything private there.

You can run smaller models on MacbookPro with ollama with those speeds. Even with several 3k GPUs it won't come close to 4o level.

Native iOS podcast player allows to customize per-podcast episode order (newest first/oldest first) I guess playback speed is a global playback property though.

also, you can take overnight trains. I find it very comfortable - you wake up and enjoy your day in some nice town, then go back home. Great weekend getaway without really spending awake time on travel, airports, security etc

Haha. Developer of app is russian. It seems that in best russian imperialistic tradition he thinks that anything repotely Slavic is russian.

First, they are not same thing. If they would be same thing, russians could speak or understand Ukrainian language (they can't). Second - I don't have russian accent. I don't even speak russian. I could agree that it can be &

by Svoka 2y ago
So, I'm Ukrainian, and it says I have 100% russian accent. It can go fuck itself to be honest.

even weirder take. Let me rephrase it like "What if crime discovered after the fact it was committed?" Or elections is somehow different?
168.
by Svoka 2y ago
You know elections have rules and they was clearly violated. Russia is in habit of illegally intervening with elections. Not sure how you think it should work? If they didn't caught it before election whatever happened is a fair game?

missed the point where I wrote something about price. If it is expensive for you - just get AWS and train your models there or 3090 I got macbook anyway and it also happily runs llama 70b.

by Svoka 2y ago
What do you mean by "versatile"? I enjoy using my macbook for literally everything I do. And it can run 70b llama with ease. Seems extremely versatile, since I will have macbook anyway. What would I do with giant tower chugging mi

by Svoka 2y ago
I'm sorry. It's cheaper than first class flight from SFO to London, say.
175.
by Svoka 2y ago
Honestly, not that expensive. Not sure what the problem is. It's like one first class flight from SFO to London. You know people buy those? And what would I do with 4090? Buy a tower, insert it and SSH into it from my mac to run some m

By the way. Crimes agains humanity/war crimes are on different scale. Like perpetrating genocide, stealing children, etc. Individual crimes are prosecuted as well, but Zelensky hasn't much to do with regular war crap, if it is not
