What I really would like to see in such tests is comparison of output quality. They mentioned a few times which drivers they are using, it would be also great if they would compare features sets of both. If a driver doesn’t support a certai

Well, about the public transport being always under construction, yes, it is. But I think it’s a good thing. First there is quite some money put into public transportation which is great. Second, it has to be modernized all the time to acco

While the transformer movie might be a little bit Hollywood, Steve Jablonski did a great job - especially Arrival to earth. Also, not a movie but a TV series, Battlestar Galactica (the new one). Bear McCreary created a space opera (the shap

Not really a suprise. I also noticed that AI results got worse lately. Like 1 year ago I was kind of getting decent results when asking to generate something but lately it’s pretty bad. And I don’t want to craft the right prompt and fiddle

Great debugging capabilities, time travel debugging, data break points, attach to running processes, remote debugging etc. I think the most important feature for an IDE is debugging - at least this is the feature which separates an ide from

Yes, I also have gone this route for a very simple application. Systemd was actually delightful, using a system assigned user account to run the service with the least amount of privileges is pretty cool. Also cgroup support does really mak

Would be interesting to make a comparison of a simple prompt to generate text and a prompt which explicitly states to not do those things.

A List of items could just contain checkboxes holding the state of selected/not selected. Then it’s a trivial query selector. To get every selected item or to know if every item is selected.

I think it would be even better to rethink cloud at all. Today the tooling is good enough to host your stuff on a VPS or bare metal.

I agree, content is just a rant about failed attempts to improve things. There is kind of a meme/general advice to be risky, to try things out, fail and iterate on failure. Everything mentioned in the article sounds like that. I mean,
