my biggest problem with rust is. i can't read it. i never know what this symbol means. is it a keyword? a type, a variable, a constant or a macro? Sure loading it into a IDE with a language server may help understanding the code.

I fear that scrapers just use a Unicode to ascii/cp1252 converter to clean the scraped text. Yes it makes scraping one step more expensive but on the other hand the Unicode injection gives legit use case a hard time

I like openscad because it use a syntax more like c than rust. Making the syntax more c like opens the user base up. Not everyone sees rust syntax as a benefit. Just my 2 cents

c# offers a very convinient way to pack data access and locking into one thing. the "lock" instruction. it does hover not let you lock more that one "resource" at a time.
