If using Gnome, only use integer scaling. 100%, 200%, 400%. KDE will have working fractional scaling for the DE and apps using QT and there you can adjust a slider to a % you like.

Linux's desktop experience also lacks polish in a lot of areas. It's not a talent or expertise issue, it just comes down to lack of resources. You can do a lot of polishing if you say here's 50 million dollars and a staff of

Apple should embrace this if the project is in need of reference materials. Apple is a hardware company primarily, so if someone buys their hardware because it will be compatible with an OS they may like more, that's still a sale for A

What is the point of using a tool that comes with management and/or coder bias to make sure you never ask or receive anything that might offend someone somewhere? I'm asking the question, I don't care if Jar Jar Binks would b

The reason time travel movies don't make sense, while absolutely lots of fun to watch, is because the Sun is travelling through space. If you were to hypothetically build a time machine and set it for any given year, you would material

To make life easier, just don't use anything of theirs from after 1928. However, anything released in 1928 and earlier is fair game. That includes gloves (movie poster, Willie title card etc. from 1928 has gloves), colours, etc. Link t

While I am definitely sympathetic to Taylor Swift, from an objective perspective, this is an example of why it's nice that other regulatory domains like Russia exist that do not have to comply with directives from American regulators.

This is why I don't like publicly-traded companies much. It's always just about short term gain and long term losses. Why would you give up research and development, just so some executives can buy themselves another yacht?
