If there's nothing here that is satisfactory, then it's quite easy to generate random pronounceable words, just alternate between vowels and consonants. As an example: https://github.com/Stuk/generate-words

I was thinking along similar lines last week with regards to APIs. Obviously you want people to use them, and they only will if they're understandable and useful. It would be good to have something like http://fivesecondtest.com/ , where p

This makes me think of this research [0] where students on a photography course had to choose one photo they took to take home. One half was allowed to swap after a few days, the others weren't: "Compared with experiencers whose decisions w

This is a genuine question: what do you mean by "Don't let the title fool you"?

I've used http://paper.li/ to create a "newspaper" from my personal twitter feed ( http://paper.li/Stuidge ). I follow people I'm interested in, and paper.li picks up their links and gives me an interesting daily summary. This isn't quit

Exactly what I was thinking. Sure you can work incredibly hard for 2/3 days, but at the end of it all you are going to be very tired. I don't think it would be physically possible to do this for a whole month. I really would love to try som

This looks very interesting. If you're interested in testing on browsers with their heads intact, have a look at the Watir project, for which Opera has just released an implementation to complete the set: http://operawatir.com Disclaimer:

Yes, soon after posting I realised it wasn't the best idea I've ever had. I regret posting this before the Github guys got a chance to fix the hole. Not something I'm going to repeat.

Ahh yes, this tiny application is a permanent part of my Windows tool kit. Absolutely fantastic for finding out where all the disk space has gone.
