I found a morning talk radio show that I liked, and set it to a low volume. Sometimes I actually listened to it while sleeping! Awake or asleep, it caused my brain to wake up a bit.

You can use a much smaller rocket due to the launch altitude. Notice how ground-launched rockets go straight up for quite a ways.

Also, teenagers have an intense drive to move out and be on their own, and often to rebel. When thinking about how our ancestors created new villages and settled new territory, I believe that this probably played a role.
