Luckily the models were built on copyrighted materials so hopefully the big players won't have strong legal standing to kill off model destilling. Then, with models like current deepseek or kimi k2.5, you are perhapy 1/2 years beh

So what? Grandma's paying taxes there. Real solution is to loosen regulations on private schools and provide equivalent tax return to parents who choose private over public.

That's a weird bug. For me it always works almost instantly with the exception of long exposures where it sometimes takes 2x the exposure time. Did you switch to Camera2 API in settings>Camera Api ?

Yes, seems like they got it down to ~2 weeks, goo! Good to know, that should be on par with Lineageos.

When I looked into it, /e/ constantly used to be many months late with security updates. LineageOS for microg and iodé were much quicker (~ 1 month max which is still not that great).

Even on non-pixel devices, unless you really want to use the /e/ "ecosystem, there are probably better options like LineageOS for microG iodéOS. (/e/ used to be heavily based on an outdated version of LineageOS for

This is about control, not sovereignty. I hate having to use visa or mastercard when better options exist but the solution is to allow competitive solutions and make surcharge mandatory so customers bear the cost of their payment choices. I

Too bad Europe does everything it can to make it inconvenient. In the beginning of this year, when confirmo was finally getting popular, they banned european shops from using it.

That was a reckless generalization on my part, I meant both. It was my cynical take on the atmosphere in Hungary, Slovakia and Poland as well as (anecdotally) in Russia. Clearly Baltics have made a much bigger progress.
