It's equally hilarious and sobering travelling to the US as European, turning on a TV and finding more advertising than programming.

"Greenblatt" shown with 42% in the bar chart is GPT-4o with a strategy: https://substack.com/@ryangreenblatt/p-145731248 So, how well might o1 do with Greenblatt's strategy?

The whole thing feels dishonest. BGP is working as intended, so should we really call hijacking a "vulnerability"? A failure to acknowledge that the protocol is fundamentally flawed and not fit for purpose.

If you buy a forest of trees planted 20 years ago it will be cheaper than farmland, and you may be able to take income from thinning from day one.

Income from the sale of timber is exempt from income tax & corporation tax. Forrest ownership in the UK is quite literally growing money on trees.

As I kid I spent much of a day playing with a Mortar shell in a rock pool on a beach in France. Despite knowing it was a bomb, I assumed it must have decomposed. Was probably not very smart.

Clearly the investigating authorities are not buying that argument because, well, it's completely absurd. Both technically and legally, Telegram are in control of those keys, regardless of where they are hosted.

You don't have to get to even a tiny fraction of 1Tb/s before your hardware can't take advantage of the speeds. Many devices area already bottlenecked by WiFi, leaving much bandwidth unused, and people are OK with that.

Supplements is not the same situation. The problems here come from shrooms being illegal; the "trustworthy brand" in illicit goods is the cartel.

The drones must loose a big part of their payload capacity due to the high altitude, but it's impressive they can even fly there. Helicopters have a really hard time and planes need very long runways.

What you're talking about is already a thing. Experimental category is aviation without much of the red tape. You can fly pretty much anything that passes 50 hours of flight testing, then modify it at will just like your car. Expect th

There's nothing inherently unhealthy about freeze-dried food. You can freeze dry pretty much anything. However, you get what you pay for, and freeze drying itself adds cost. Ingredient quality/price must be very low.
