Wow, thanks for that video down memory lane. I had a 3660 (friends called it the "communications brick"). There was no wifi and I couldn't afford a data plan but I was able to have the phone dialup via Bluetooth (think "

Careful, there's nothing more permanent than a temporary fix. Github is changing the default branch name for new repos. New repos tend to have the most fresh eyes and agility. It shouldn't hurt too bad.

You may have missed GP's point. Microsoft is casts a very wide net, running on a huge array of hardware and trying to do everything from mobile to console gaming to datacenter servers. The dev experience is equally diverse: you don&

You're of course correct but I also think you greatly overestimate the number of people willing to even put up with PGP, let alone sign their tweets with it.

Coffee rituals are a mixed bag of "truths" and preferences. Here's why I believe AP doesn't need those things and a pour over does: Blooming is mostly to remove gas pockets from the bed of coffee so water can reach all

There's no way pour over is less fiddly than an AeroPress. Timing blooms, gooseneck kettle only so you can gently apply water evenly, and having to sit the whole thing on a scale so you can measure how much water you've really ad

I'm the only coffee drinker in the house and I love my AeroPress: * It's fast * It's foolproof * It makes good quality coffee * It's camping friendly All of the tedium and unforced errors of pour over coffee disappears:

How could it not be cheaper? No molds (or just one bezel mold), far less industrial design, fewer individual wires. Not to mention the QA requirements for testing buttons vs a virtual screen.

Except tools may not themselves break but cheap tools can break other things. Cheap wrenches will strip hex bolts on bikes, for instance. Buy Wera hex-plus at a premium but do the job right right.
