Thanks for the answer. I am in the EU and talked and it is a small company. The CEO mentioned that some colleagues spent a lot or time in other EU countries so it seems that it is not uncommon. However there is nothing mentioned in the cont

Honeypot in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Netherlands (maybe more). That is where I am looking for a different job and friends with a company for developers.

The truth about Svelte post of Rich Harris is very much in point about Svelte. It gets out of your way and feels like HTML/JS/CSS + a few thought out features. You can use a lot of libraries without a wrapper for svelte. https:&#

Linters and types helped me a lot. When I started coding with Python and JS I introduced most Biggs due to typos or need to look up method names again and again and again ... Now most of it is catched by tab completion, types and linting. T

Interesting! 2 Years ago I was reading that there is exponential growth in remote sensory data (drones and satellite due to CubeSat and decreasing cost in lunching material into space.) Do you see growth in that area or where would you get

Good point, maybe this is an issue in bigger projects. I don't have experience here yet. Regarding debugging and errors, it feels that less code and so much features being already included, and thus out of "one hand", seem to

I am glad it worked for your girlfriend. One should still not simply walk into a Favela as a tourist. I have family in Brazil (Sao Paulo) and a majority had different experiences even when being careful. Regarding "Not wasting time and

Interesting point, would you say it makes more sense to focus on adopted technologies rather then interesting ones in thier growth phase? Concrete: I learned React a while ago but find Svelte interesting and think it has potential. I am no

Could you explain? I would assume that only a part of the increase in wages would go to rent. I live in Norway where the minimum salary is high. Rents are too but the average person has to spent less time working to pay for housing. Do you

Which languages are you using if I may ask? I was looking at Haskell and Elm and some repositories show little activity. Was the ecosystem a problem for you?

I am interested in functional programming. Without a CS background I was wondering, if Haskell can provide these guarantees, why is it not more adopted? If, on an enterprise scale, you can avoid the majority of bugs, would that not be a cle

Would it make it cheaper? I understood that the initial investment is the main cost factor for renewable energy sources. The full load hours for on-shore wind in Germany are about 40% of the total hours per year. You would then need 2.5x th

I had a similar line of thought in the beginning too. If you google Elm these issues pop up. However after some time posts about it lead back a very limited set of occasions and block posts. Which are either criticizing the leadership style

From a self taught view, the compiler helped me a lot and when it compiles it usually works and when not the community is very helpful. Over all I found libraries usually of good quality while also not needing a lot as Elm includes a lot ou
