This would be much simpler with just an ESP instead of messing around with the air freshner mechanism, it'll be more trouble than its worth.

No. It's very interesting. Yes, 4 layer boards from China are cheap, but I don't care about cheap. I care about not having to wait, and if I can get something good enough in an hour at home, that's going to beat waiting for p

Hah, I did the same thing in much the same way, though IIRC I didn't use a relay, I used the existing circuit board and found the place where their MCU output the signal to move the motor. Pretty nice hack, at least until I realized I

Oh I definitely agree that "citation please" is rampant as a way to tire out your "opponent", I just think that it's usually in good faith on HN , or at least in this instance.

Does anyone know of a statistic for how much lower the reinfection rate is vs the first infection? That's the useful metric, rather than "percentage reinfected", which may just be because those who weren't reinfected did

But that statistic is useless on its own. The more salient statistic is "how much lower was the infection rate among people who have recovered, compared to people who had never had COVID, for the same time frame?".

Except the second one is only useful if you actually do have another offer, so the two are not equivalent. What you should actually do is politely request that you be allowed to work remotely, as you "realized that you are not lookin

Is the windshield glass really the only change you see, when grass becomes green, reflections are added, the entire photo has a higher color temperature, etc?

You are correct, though it would help to clarify that you're correcting the GP on the "per kilo" part, and not the "energy" part. I agree, if you're deploying 1 kg of fissile material, only 0.1% of that will be
